Malagasy rainbow frog (mini)

This frog was inspired by the The Malagasy rainbow frog species (Scaphiophryne gottlebei). It’s cast in hard white gypsum and carefully hand-painted. It measures about 1.75” (4.5cm) in diameter.

Also known as the red rain frog, this species hangs in sandy areas bordering streams or spends its time in small holes or crevices in the rock walls. Endemic to the central part of southern Madagascar, the IUCN has listed them as endangered. This is our tribute to these colorful little blobs.

This piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor imperfections in texture and paint job. The colors may vary from your screen. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
