Resin Angry Avocados

These grumpy plumps were inspired by the epic Black Rain Frog (Breviceps fuscus). The original clay sculpture was 3D scanned with James Bond accuracy and digitally tweaked to be slightly smaller and more avocado-like. Each piece is solid resin printed, carefully sanded, hand-painted, and finished with protective varnish and glossy resin eyes. They measure roughly 2.3" (6 cm) in diameter.

Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many and this is our tribute to them.

As each piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor imperfections and variations in paint job. The colors may vary from your screen. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
