Resin Stingray Magnets

Sea pancakes! Or water crepes. Majestic sea flap flaps. (All scientific names).

These beautiful shiny rays function as fridge magnets, or they can lay flat as figurines. The original was sculpted from polymer clay and scanned into 3D, they were printed in solid resin with a strong neoprene magnet added to the back. The rays were carefully prepped, air-bushed, hand-painted and coated with super glossy UV resin. 

There are many different types of rays (Batoidea), their closest relatives being sharks. Their colors usually match the mud or sand they hide in. These rays are a combination of freshwater and saltwater species.

As each piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor imperfections and variations in paint job. The colors may vary from your screen. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
