Common Rain Frog
This frog was inspired by the Bushveld rain frog (Breviceps adspersus). It’s cast in hard white gypsum and carefully hand-painted. There’s quite some weight to this plump, similar to stone, so it would make a great grumpy paperweight! It measures roughly 3” (8cm) in diameter.
Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many and this is our tribute to them.
This piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor imperfections in texture and paint job. The colors may vary from your screen. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
