Mexican Burrowing Toads

These toads have wonderful wide builds and tiny pin heads. They're cast in hard white resin, carefully hand-painted and finished with a protective satin varnish. They measure roughly 9×10cm.

Mexican Burrowing Toads are built for burrowing and spend most of their time underground. When calling out to a mate they swell to impressive sizes, with their already short limbs nearly disappearing. They’re the only living representative of the family Rhinophoridae.

This piece is uniquely handmade, there may be minor imperfections in texture and paint job. The colors may vary from your screen. Each is truly one-of-a-kind!
