Stoneware Frog Jar - Light Blue

This piece was inspired by the black rain frog (Breviceps fuscus), lovingly crafted using slip-cast and sculpting techniques. The vessel functions as a sugar bowl, jewelry holder, or precious trinket keepsake.

Rain frogs can be found in the desert of South Africa and Namibia. They have a mighty squeak and love to bury themselves deep into the sand. Sadly they’re a vulnerable species in the wild, but have captured the hearts of many and this is our tribute to them.
